Ulupna Single Vineyard Royal Phoenix Shiraz 2017

Flaunting a deep pink-purple colour, Ulupna Single Vineyard Royal Phoenix Shiraz was crafted using fruit picked from the oldest vines of Ulupna Vineyard. The bouquet of this exciting Shiraz opens with moderate aromas of chocolate, plums and cooked raspberries, over light tones of vanilla. The flavours of raspberries and chocolate carry on to the palate, fusing with very fine tannins and moderate acidity, leading to a dry and lengthy finale. The wine tastes good on its own, and also tastes great when served with venison in dark chocolate sauce, or grilled pork neck with spicy tamarind sauce.
