Taylor Ferguson is the much-altered descendant of a business of that name established in Melbourne in 1898. A connecting web joins it with Alexander & Paterson (1892) and the much more recent distribution business of Alepat Taylor, formed in 1996. The development of the Taylor Ferguson wines has been directed by winemaker Norman Lever, using grapes sourced from various regions, mainly Coonawarra, Langhorne Creek and the Riverina.
