Printhie Mountain Range Merlot 2017

The ripe fruit for this impressively-balanced wine was sourced entirely from the estate. In a glass, it features a dark purple colour with a pink hue. Offering good aromatic intensity, its fragrant bouquet emanates red berry and cassis scents, with a hint of floral perfume. Cedar nuances from oak maturation add to the nose, which in turn seamlessly leads to a palate exhibiting a firm structure. The distinctive varietal flavours are carried through to the finish by fine tannins. Serve this wonderful red wine with Gouda cheese, slow cooker beef stew, or slow roast leg of lamb.
