This Shiraz was produced with fruit from the Conte Vineyard in the central Heathcote area. The wine was barrel fermented in new, and one year old French Sequin Moreau and matured in the same oak for sixteen months.
The colour is deep purple red with vibrant crimson hues. The bouquet spicy damson plum, black pepper, mocha and chocolate aroma, supported by subtle vanillin oak. A generous palate of plum and dark cherry fruit, with savoury tannins, and great palate length.
